The Peak together with the von Buerens of Lotus Arts de Vivre invited selected guests to experience three days of art, splendour and world-class luxury in Bangkok, Thailand as part of The Peak’s annual International Dinner Series. Our guests were hosted at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
The von Buerens, one of the earliest foreigners in Bangkok, built classic Thai wooden houses as homes. On the first evening, our guests were entertained to a lovely dinner party at the celebrated von Bueren residence where they sat on the floor in the traditional manner.
The next day, they were taken on a private tour of Lotus Arts de Vivre’s workshop for an insight on how Lotus Arts de Vivre pieces are crafted and also viewed the brand’s latest home furnishings and large pieces that took months or even years to complete.
The following evening, they mingled with local friends of Lotus Arts de Vivre at a cocktail party where up-and-coming French-American artist Alex Charriol demonstrated his skills by painting in front of the audience.
After the event they went for a late-night supper and took in the night scene in the city in a fitting end to a weekend in Bangkok!
